Blackpool Safeguarding Children: Multi-agency Safeguarding Arrangements

Blackpool's Multi Agency Safeguarding Arrangements (BMASA) are taking shape with all Strategic Groups well developed and priorities set for the initial 12 months which will feed into the final business plan. Partners will undertake consistent multi agency audits through these groups to monitor our outcomes for our children, young people and families. Strategic Groups priorities support the overarching arrangements to ensure families receive support at the earliest point and an effective Partnership system is evident and collaboratively working.

Governance Structure

Multi Agency training is being developed through the Strategic groups with the support of the business team to ensure the most up to date training is offered to the workforce. Current training being developed is the Neglect offer along with Domestic Abuse and Early Help.
